WATERBURY, Conn. -- In their first week back for the spring season, junior Dante Despontin was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Honor Roll for Post University Men's Tennis as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

Despontin was nearly perfect for the Eagles despite a 0-2 week for the Eagles on the road during spring break. Playing in the #3 Singles and Doubles positions in both matches, Despontin was 2-0 in the doubles with sophomores Josh Cronje and Tobias Strauss. Against District of Columbia, Despontin and Cronje won 6-3 in their match before the junior fell in straight sets against Antonio Durall. The next day against Millersville, Despontin was 2-0 as he teamed up with Strauss for another 6-2 win then got Post's sole point in the Singles with 7-6 and 6-1 set victories, closing out a 3-1 week overall.

Post University will take on Adelphi University tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 PM at the Edgewood Tennis & Bath Club in Middlebury, Connecticut.
