WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the second straight week, Post University Men's Basketball saw one of their own named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's Weekly Awards with graduate forward
Harrison Warnock being named to the CACC Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Warnock was dominant for the Eagles during a 1-1 week for Post with a win over the College of Staten Island and a loss to nationally-ranked Daemen University. Warnock led all players with 38 total points, averaging 19 points per game, on 43.4% shooting overall (13-for-30) and going 6-for-11 from three (54.5%) while also making 6-of-8 free throws he took. On the boards, the graduate student had 13 rebounds to go along with three steals, two assists, and a block. Warnock scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds against the Dolphins before leading the way with 21 points and bringing in six boards against the Wildcats.
Post University hits the road before Thanksgiving Break to play Queens College (N.Y.) on Tuesday night at 6:00 PM in Flushing, New York. This will be the first matchup between the two programs since the 2012-13 season and the first on the Knights' home court. The Eagles are 4-0 all-time against Queens since their first meeting during the 2008-09 season.
