WATERBURY, Conn. – It was another one of those games where everything seemed to be clicking just right for Post University Women's Volleyball on Saturday afternoon in the Drubner Center. HOW IT HAPPENED
The Eagles made the most of the errors from Wilmington University as they finished the match with a .365 attack percentage while the Wildcats finished at .106 with 16 errors across the three sets compared to just six for Post. Like last match, the Eagles only trailed three times with the scores being 1-0 in each of the first two sets and then 2-1 in the second set of the match. Set one would be highlighted by a 7-0 run for Post behind four service aces from junior libero

A game of runs in set two also paced Post to a 2-0 match lead behind runs of 5-0 and 6-0 sandwiched at the beginning and end of the 25-17 set. The Wildcats would creep within two points, 15-13, before that last 6-0 run that distance the Eagles for good, and momentum carried over into the third set where they scored five of the first six points and led by a set-high 12 points when it concluded with a 25-13 win for Post and the 3-0 sweep.
