Kristina Peric - Player of the Week - Women's Volleyball
Peric had one of her best weeks as a member of the Eagles who continued their hot start to the conference schedule with two wins over the University of Bridgeport and Goldey-Beacom College sandwiched around a non-conference loss to St. Thomas Aquinas College. Against the Purple Knights, Peric set career highs in attack percentage with a .356 mark and kills with 27 in the five-set win for Post before going off for 13 kills against the Spartans and 12 more against the Lightning with a .429 attack percentage. In all, Peric totaled 52 kills on 132 attempts with only 14 errors leading to a .288 attack percentage while also registering 26 digs, five block assists, and four services aces.
Alyssa Groves - Defensive Player of the Week - Women's Volleyball
Groves continues to light it up defensively for the Eagles, tacking on another 81 digs to her season total which has her leading the nation in digs per set at 6.76 now. Groves had 26 digs against Bridgeport in a five-set win for the Eagles followed by 31 in a loss to St. Thomas Aquinas College and 24 more against Goldey-Beacom College as Post won both their conference matches this week to move to 5-1 overall in the North Division. Groves also had 11 assists and five service aces in her 12 sets played while averaging 6.75 digs per set.
Felix Nassen - Honor Roll - Men's Soccer
Playing in all 180 minutes of the week for the Eagles, Nassen helped anchor an Eagles defense that allowed no goals and just four shots on goal during a perfect week of conference play. Post won both their games against Bloomfield College and Jefferson University by a 2-0 score while allowing no shots on goal against the Bears and just four against the Rams.
Ricardo Moreno - Honor Roll - Men's Soccer
Moreno spun two clean sheets during the week for the Eagles, needing to make just four saves in total as he went 2-0-0 in net for the Eagles. Moreno faced no shots against Bloomfield College in the 2-0 win for Post before stopping all four shots he faced against Jefferson University over the weekend in another 2-0 win. Moreno now has a shutout in each of his last three games in net along with four total shutouts on the season.
