Waterbury, CT - James Vincent of the Post University men's tennis team was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player and Rookie of the Week for April 3-9.

During the Eagles' 2-1 week, Vincent went 2-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles.

In Post's 5-2 loss to Chestnut Hill on April 4, Vincent defeated Noah Cutting in singles no. 1, 6-3, 6-3 while winning his doubles no. 2 with partner Anton Andersson, 6-4.

During a 7-0 shutout against Dominican on April 5, Vincent defeated Marcos Lee, 6-2, 6-2 in singles no. 1, and along with Andersson again, won, 6-1 over Qalib B. Ladhani and Skylar Ross.

It was the second time this season Vincent has won both awards on the same week. He is currently 7-1 overall, all in singles no. 1 and 5-5 in doubles.
