Waterbury, Conn. - Post Men's Tennis Freshman James Vincent was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the week. This comes in Vincent's first week of collegiate competition. Vincent was key in the Eagles 2-0 week as the defeated the US Coast Guard Academy (USCG) and Adelphi University 4-3 in consecutive days.

Competing as the #1 in singles, Vincent took care of both singles games with a 7-6, 6-4 win over USCG. And, following that up on Sunday with a nail-biting three-set match against Adelphi which ended in his favor (6-4, 0-6, 11-9).

Vincent went 1-1 in Doubles, as he and Sophomore doubles partner Anton Andersson played #1 Doubles. They had a convincing 6-0 win on Sunday that helped Post gain the doubles point against Adelphi.

The Eagles will next compete in Florida over spring break on Monday March 13, times TBA.
