Waterbury, CT – Post University men's basketball player Isaiah Holmes was named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Second Team as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

This season, Holmes averaged a career-high 13.2 points along with 3.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 27 games while shooting 35.8 percent from three (29-for-81).

Holmes scored in double figures in 23 of his 27 games, including in 13 straight games midway through the season. In a 73-61 win over Goldey-Beacom on January 21, Holmes scored a career-high 25 points on 11-for-14 shooting to go with four rebounds.

Holmes also had 19 points against Bentley and 18 points in an 83-59 win over Georgian Court on New Year's Eve. In the Eagles' regular season finale, Holmes earned his first double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds as the Eagles dominated in a 112-70 win over Felician and clinching a CACC Tournament spot.

He was named CACC Defensive Player of the Week after the Eagles defeated No. 16, Florida Southern where he scored 16 points with six rebounds and three steals.

For his career, Holmes has scored 970 points in his career with 124 steals, 315 assists and 307 rebounds.
