Junior forward Jeannie Wallner would round out the trio of first period goals with 1:20 remaining with the help of senior forward Ashley Morrow and freshman forward Grace Babington.

Senior forward Mikayla would tally a pair of second period goals for LIU only eight second apart from each other, first from the help of Mortl and then sophomore forward Paige Vreeman to extend the Sharks' lead to five goals at that point. Senior forward Maggie Culp would help finish off the scoring for LIU, assisting on sophomore forward Anya Weilandt's goal a little while later, making it three goals in under two minutes for the Sharks who went ahead 6-0.
