PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Riding a high off their 2-1 narrow victory over St. Thomas Aquinas this past Tuesday, Post University's Women's Soccer traveled to Holy Family University to square up against their CACC opponents where the Eagles were outscored, 1-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Despite Post getting six shots in the first 45, Holy Family more than doubled up the Eagles' shots with 13. However, it wasn't until under the 10-minute mark when Holy Family's Maddie Maguire found the back of the net thanks to a feed from Brynn Hess. Just three minutes later, Post's
Tassia Ferreira was given a yellow card, however, the penalty did not affect the remaining minutes of the half as the squads heading into the break, 0-1.
The Eagles were quick to get the goal back as
Reese Kloetzer punched one through to the back of the net from
Bianca Stiles a mere 35 ticks after the whistle blew to knot it up at 1-1. However, Holy Family continued to pound the net, racking up 11 shots before regaining the edge, 2-1 with just under 10 minutes remaining (80:37). The Eagles attempted to even out the score in the final minutes at
Zoe Mier used her head to lace one just right of the net at the 86:51 mark before the Eagles took the eventual 2-1 loss.
