Wilmington, De. – The Post University men's soccer team had its winning streak snapped at four games in a 2-0 loss to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) rival Wilmington on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles are now 5-3-0 overall and 3-1-0 in the CACC. Wilmington moves to 5-2-2 overall and 4-0-0 in the CACC.
The Eagles finished with six shots on the day, with Gentian Selimi leading the way with two.
David Mollenthiel finished with four saves in net. It was the first goals the Eagles have allowed in CACC play this season.
Both teams pitched a shutout in the first hour of game time until Marcus Hedermann of Wilmington scored the first his two goals on a header on a cross from Yohan Kim.
Hedermann would score his second in the 87th minute.
The two teams have played 26 times in their history, and are even in the series at 10-10-6.
