Waterbury, Conn. – The 2021-2022 Post University baseball team was recognized as an American Baseball Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Award winner.
 
It was the first time in program history earning the distinction.
 
To be eligible for the award, the team must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 during the academic year.
 
The ABCA honored 420 colleges, including 87 from Division II. Four members from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) made the list.
 
During the 2021-2022 academic year the Eagles had a team GPA of 3.25, including 34 team members with a GPA over 3.0.
