Caldwell, N.J. – For the first time since 2019, the Post University baseball team won the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division regular season title, sweeping Caldwell, 7-4 and 10-5 on Sunday afternoon.
It is the third time the Eagles have taken home the North Division title, winning it in 2018 and 2019.
With the regular season title, the Eagles earned a bye in the upcoming CACC Tournament and will host the winner of Goldey-Beacom and Jefferson on May 12 at 2 p.m. at Municipal Stadium. Municipal Stadium will be the host site of the double elimination portion of the tournament from May 12-14.
The Eagles wrapped up the regular season at 22-25 and 17-8 in the CACC.
In game one, after falling behind 2-0, the Eagles bats woke up, scoring three runs in the top of the fifth, including an RBI single by Robert Olah, who broke the CACC record, previously held by Matt Diesel, who had 65 for Felician in 2018.
