Waterbury, Conn. – Jose Nunez of the Post University men's tennis team was named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Second Team as released by the conference.
Nunez, in his first yead on the team was 13-7 overall in singles, including 11-5 as no. 6 singles and 2-1 at no. 5 singles. He was also 6-1 in CACC Play.
He finished the season winning seven of his final ten singles matches and from March 17-March 30, Nunez won six straight matches, all in straight sets.
In doubles, playing no. 3, his teams were 3-8, including 3-3 in CACC play.
Nunez is the first Eagle to make All-Conference since 2019 when Konstantin Belov and Nino Krneta made the first team. He is also the 12th Eagle to make an All-CACC team in program history.
