Hillburn, N.Y. - The Post University women's lacrosse team lost a 21-7 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game to Dominican on Wednesday evening.
Post is now 4-10 overall and 3-3 in the CACC. The Chargers are 11-3 overall and 6-1 in the CACC.
After the Chargers scored the first eight goals of the game, the Eagles were able to break through with two straight goals of their own by
Athlyn Wood and
Kate Clemente to make it an 8-2 game.
Dominican scored the final three goals and the opening third period goal before
Morgan Cassiliano scored her first of the game.
Gabrielle Fiora added her ninth goal of the season as the Chargers took a 16-4 lead into the fourth.
Cassiliano added two more goals in the fourth and Wood added her second of the game.
Jordan Tomasetti had six goals to lead Dominican. Grace DeStasio had four.
Up next, the Eagles play their final regular season home game of the season on April 20 at 3 p.m.
