Wilmington, DE. – The Post University women's lacrosse team lost a 20-6 game to Wilmington in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Eagles are now 2-7 overall and 1-2 in the CACC.
Wilmington opened up with the first six goals of the game before Molly Dobratz got the Eagles on the board at the 5:46 mark of the first.
Morgan Cassiliano and Cara Distefano scored in the second as the Wildcats took a 13-3 lead into the half.
Post never got closer than nine the rest of the way as Cassiliano scored her second of the game and Hailey McHenry chipped in with two goals of her own in the second half.
Campbell Heller led the Wildcats (7-2, 2-0 CACC) with five goals. Ella Baynes and Maddie Day each had four.
Christina Badaracco had 12 saves in net for the Eagles.
Up next, the Eagles will host Nyack at 3 p.m. on March 30 in CACC play.
