Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University women's lacrosse team lost an 18-3 game to defending Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) champions, Georgian Court on Saturday afternoon at LaMoy Field in the team's conference opener.

The Eagles are now 1-5 overall and 0-1 in the CACC.

Post fell behind 4-0 in the first quarter before Morgan Cassiliano got on the board with her team-leading 19th goal of the season to make it a 4-1 game. The Lions led 9-1 after the first.

Cassiliano scored her second goal at the 9:45 mark, making it a 12-2 game at the in the second. Molly Dobratz scored her sixth goal of the season with 26 second remaining in the half, as the Eagles trailed 14-3 heading into halftime.

It would be the last goals for the Eagles in the game. 

Shaine Sauter scored five goals to pace GCU, while Sabrina Chandler had four.

Christina Badaracco had ten saves in net for Post.
