Seven Eagles Make USTFCCCA All-Region

Waterbury, Conn. - Seven members of the Post University men's and women's indoor track teams were named to the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) All-East Region team.

The top five individuals in each region earned All-Region distinction.

Martina Stanchi was responsible for two of those names on the list, earning All-East Region distinction in the women's 60 and 200 meter races. Stanchi, who won the East Coast Conference titles in both events had a 60m time of 7.73 and a 200m time of 25.51.

Cecilia Spoldi earned the distinction in the 400m, with a best of 57.02. Anna Bonato, a freshman earned the honor in the weight throw with a throw of 13.67m, which put her in second in the ECC Championships.

On the men's side freshman Antonio Spencer, with a time of 6.97 earned the honor. He won the ECC 60M championship earlier this season.

Letlhogonolo Ramafuthula was named All-East Region in the triple jump with a jump of 14.33, which he got in the 2022 Boston University Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational.

In the high jump, Godwyn Roban took honors with a jump of 2.00m, which won him The William Sutherland III Invitational earlier this season.

The seven honorees were the second most among the ECC.
