Philadelphia, Pa. – The Post University men's basketball team had its ten-game winning streak snapped in a 98-70 loss to Jefferson on Saturday evening in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game.
The Eagles are now 14-7 overall and 10-1 in the CACC. The Eagles remain in first place in the North Division.
Devonte McCall led three Eagles in double figures with 18 points to go along with six rebounds. 
D.J. Frechette scored 15 points and 
Isaiah Holmes had 13.
The Rams – currently first in the South Division – jumped out to a 10-2 lead before the Eagles rallied to cut the deficit to 14-11 on baskets by McCall, Holmes and 
Tyler Small.
Jefferson (14-4, 10-1 CACC), however, extended its lead to as much as 20 points at 47-27 before the Eagles scored the last four points on baskets from 
Derrick Thomas II and Small to make it a 47-31 Rams lead at the half.
Post was able to cut the deficit to 13 in the second half at 51-38, but the Rams went on a 26-10 run over the course of six minutes to take a 77-48 lead and would hold on the rest of the way.
The Eagles hit all 11 of their free throw attempts on the day, including 8-for-8 from Frechette.
Erik Timko led all players with 32 points for Jefferson. Deondre Bourne had 21 points for the Rams.
Up next, the Eagles come back to the Drubner Center to host Bloomfield at 7:30 p.m. on February 9.
