Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University men's lacrosse team lost its season opener to Roberts Wesleyan, 21-12 on Tuesday afternoon at LaMoy Field.
Three players scored multiple goals for the Eagles as
Dylan Heald and
Robbie McGrayne each had a hat trick, while
Justin Nogueira and
Nick Meier each had two.

Post fell behind 3-1 early on - with McGrayne scoring his the first goal - before the Eagles rattled off five straight goals, including two by both Heald and Meier.
Right before the end of the first quarter,
Malcolm Nordquist streaked down the field after a turnover and ripped a shot for his first goal of the season to make it a 6-3 Post lead after the first.Â
Both teams would exchange the first four goals of the second quarter as McGrayne and
Brendan Kelleher scored for the Eagles to make it an 8-5 Post lead.Â
However, the Redhawks would score seven of the next eight goals and take a 12-9 lead into the half.
Roberts Wesleyan outscored the Eagles 6-2 in the third with Heald and Nogueira scoring. Nogueira would tack on one more goal in the fourth.
