Waterbury, Conn. -  The Post University men's basketball team scored the first 11 points as the Eagles dominated University of the Sciences, 88-59 on Saturday afternoon at the Drubner Center.
The Eagles have won 12 of their last 13, and sit atop the CACC North Division with a 16-7 overall record and 12-1 record in the CACC.
Devonte McCall led the Eagles with 28 points and 
David Jasson scored 22.
McCall started the game with a bang on a dunk off a pass from Jasson as the Eagles scored on their first five possessions of the game, capped by a three from 
D.J. Frechette to go up 11-0.
After the Devils, got on the board, the Eagles continued their hot shooting, taking a 23-5 lead after scoring 12 of the next 14 points, as Jasson scored five points and Frechette scored four in the span.
 The Eagles led by as much as 21 points on two different occasions in the first half, the final time coming on a layup and free throw from Jasson to put the Eagles ahead 41-20. Post led 45-30 at the half.
After cutting the Eagles lead to 13 points in the second half at the 18:38 mark at 45-32, Post went on a 24-9 run to go up 69-43 with 9:16 remaining. During that run, McCall and Frechette each scored six points, and
 Isaiah Holmes scored four.
The Devils (3-17, 3-11 CACC) cut their deficit to 16 at 71-55 with 5:03 remaining, until the Eagles scored 12 of the next 14 points, 11 coming from McCall to go up 83-57, effectively putting the game away for the Eagles.
Frechette finished with 16 points. The Eagles shot 12-for-25 from the field.
Holmes finished with a team high seven assists and three steals to go with six points. 
Abdul-Basit Ajia had a team-high seven rebounds. McCall had four blocks. It is the fifth game he has had four or more blocks.
Eight of the Eagles' CACC wins this season have been by double figures.
Jordan Davidson led USciences with 14 points.
