Shelton, Conn. – The Post University men's hockey team lost the second game of its weekend series with Saint Anselm, 4-0 in a Northeast-10 game at The Rinks at Shelton on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Eagles are now 5-9 on the season and 3-4 in the NE10.
The Eagles outshot the Hawks, 32-23 on the day, with
Jake Raleigh,
Nick Brewer and
Evan Lugo leading the way with four apiece.
The Hawks scored one goal in the first, two in the second and one in the third.
Andrew Andary, following up a hat trick from Friday, had two goals and two assists for the Hawks (6-7-1, 3-4-1 NE10).
Drew Blodgett had 19 saves in net for the Eagles.
Up next, the Eagles will head on the road to take on Saint Michael's on Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. and Jan. 22 at 4 p.m. in conference play.
