Hookset, N.H. – The Post University men's soccer team lost its first game of the season, a 2-0 match to Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday evening.
HOW WE GOT THERE:
· The game was scoreless until the 37th minute until SNHU's Alexander Reiter broke the tie with a goal to give SHU the lead, that it ultimately took into the half.
· Post had a goal waved off in the 68th minute on an offside call on a cross inside the box that Carles Aliberch had put in the net.
· SNHU tacked on one more goal in the 80th minute.
· Soren Jensen – who made the CACC Weekly Honor Roll in his first week as a collegiate athlete had three saves on the evening.
· Sergio Diaz led the Eagles with three shots. Aliberch had two.
UP NEXT: The 22nd ranked Eagles will take on LeMoyne on the road in a non-conference match at noon on Saturday, September 11th.
