Syracuse, N.Y. – The Post University men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 non-conference match to Le Moyne on Saturday afternoon in a road contest.
With the loss, the Eagles fall to 0-2-1 on the season.
Teams were scoreless in the first half. Post had an opportunity in the seventh minute, but a shot from
Sergio Diaz was stopped by Dolphins' keeper, Josh Mahr.
he Dolphins put up two goals in the 59
th and 63
rd minutes by Robert Rohrhirsch and Tom Henne, respectively.
The Eagles outshot the Dolphins, 10-7 and had three shots on goal that were stopped in the final 20 minutes of the game.
Diaz led all Eagles with four shots, including two on goal.
Jordan Brown had three saves in his first start on the season for the Eagles.
Up next, the Eagles will host No. 3 Franklin Pierce in a rematch of the 2019 NCAA Sweet Sixteen contest at 4 p.m. at LaMoy Field.
