Shelton, Conn. – The Post University men's hockey team lost 6-1 to Albertus Magnus on Saturday evening at The Rinks at Shelton in a non-conference game.

The Eagles are now 2-5 on the season.

After a scoreless first period, the Falcons scored four consecutive goals before Chase Lapworth scored his third goal of the season as on a two on nothing breakaway, Lapworth's attempted pass bounced off of Falcons' goaltender Logan Bateman and into the net to make it a 4-1 game with 30 seconds remaining in the second period. Jack Engdahl and Nolan Arbuckle assisted on the play.

The Falcons tacked on two more goals in the third for the final goals of the game. Jonathan Stein scored twice for the Falcons.

In net for the Eagles, Brandon Brown had 33 saves on the day, tying him for his second highest total of the season.

The Eagles won the faceoff battle, 37-33 as Lapworth, John Krapian, Niko Grollman and Evan Lugo each won eight.

Up next, the Eagles get back into Northeast-10 play as they travel to Stonehill to take on the Skyhawks at 6 p.m.
