Hanover, N.H. – The Post University women's hockey team lost a 4-2 non-conference game against Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon.
Post now sits at 3-16 on the season. Dartmouth, of the Eastern College Athletic Conference is 7-8.
With the Eagles down 3-0 in the third, Catherine Proulx scored her second goal of the season on a breakaway on an assist from Jade Giesbrecht to make it a 3-1 game at the 10:29 mark.
After Dartmouth answered with a goal of its own at the 12:48 mark, Angeline Pitter would score her first career goal on an assist from Jenna Abeyta with just under a minute remaining.
The Eagles had 14 shots on the day, with Abeyta leading the way with three.
In net, Kaitlyn Daly stopped 54 shots on the day, including 18 in the third period.
It was the last game for the Eagles before the holiday break. They will return to action on January 21, as they play on the road at Anna Maria College at 8 p.m.
