East Meadow, N.Y. - The Post University women's ice hockey team fell to Long Island University, 4-0 on Friday afternoon in a New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) match.

Goaltender Kaitlyn Daly turned away 30 shots for the Eagles, including ten during a scoreless first period and 13 in the second.

The Sharks got on the board in the second period on a goal from Matilda af Bjur at 7:23 and snuck in one more goal just 32 seconds before the second intermission by Journey Miller.

LIU would tack on two more goals in the third.

Kiersten Browning led all Eagles in shots on goal with three. Four other players tied for two apiece.

The two teams will meet again on Saturday at The Rinks at Shelton for a 7:30 p.m. start
