Shelton, Conn. - The Post University women's hockey team lost a 4-0 New England Women's Hockey Alliance game to Sacred Heart on Tuesday afternoon at the Rinks at Shelton.
Lexi Levy had 40 saves for the Eagles in net, including 16 in the first period.
Post had 17 shots on goal on the day, with
Sheridan Terrazzano leading the way with three.
Jenna Abeyta and
Julia Wysocki each chipped in with two.
The Pioneers scored one goal in the first period at the 3:41 mark. They would add two more in the second and one in the third.
Madison Turley and Wysocki each led the Eagles with seven faceofff wins.
Up next, the Eagles play at Wesleyan on November 27 at 7 p.m.
