Shelton, Conn. – Goaltender Kaitlyn Daly had 51 saves, but the Post University women's hockey team lost to Franklin Pierce, 3-0 in a New England Women's Hockey Alliance game on Saturday evening at The Rinks at Shelton.
The Eagles are now 2-11 overall and 2-8-0 in NEWHA play.
The Eagles had 11 shots on the day, with Kiersten Browning and Casey Van den oetelaar with three shots.
Franklin Pierce (8-4-1, 5-1-0 NEWHA) had goals in each period from Marissa Massaro, Emilie Prive and Cassidy Jones.
Jade Giesbrecht and Julia Wysocki each won five faceoffs for the Eagles.
