Bloomfield, N.J. – Lydia Asamoah scored her first two goals of the season as the Post University women's soccer team topped Bloomfield, 2-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match on Wednesday afternoon on the road.
Asamoah, scored her first goal in the 17
th minute as she took a ball in the box from
Alyssa Hebb, made a defender fall as she dribbled past them, and put the ball past Bloomfield (2-6, 0-4) goalkeeper Maria Taseva to give the Eagles the 1-0 lead.
She would score her second goal in the 52
nd minute as she took a ball in the box after two headed passes from
Ciara Conklin and
Katharina Kuhne and took a wide open shot at the net to give the Eagles the 2-0 lead.
This was the second multiple goal game for Asamoah in her career. She scored two in a win over Wilmington in 2019.
The two teams were even in shots with nine apiece. The Eagles (3-5, 2-3 CACC) did not allow a shot the entire first half.
Tayleur Little finished the game with six saves.
