Lafayette Hills, Pa. – A late goal from Amber McGee lifted the Post University women's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Chestnut Hill in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match Sunday afternoon.
In the 86th minute, Katharina Khune hit a corner kick into the box that Amber McGee headed into the net past Chestnut Hill goalkeeper Bri Hewlett to give the Eagles. It was McGee's second goal of the season.
In net, Claire Said, stopped four shots.
The Eagles (6-8-1, 5-5-1 CACC) outshot Chestnut Hill, 14-9, with Hailey McGee, Alyssa Hebb and Lydia Asamoah leading the way with three shots apiece.
The Eagles will learn their CACC tournament opponent later this week.
