Women’s Soccer Scores Twice In Second Half, Top Felician

Lyndhurst, N.J. – The Post University women's soccer team scored two goals in the second half and defeated Felician, 2-1 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match on Wednesday evening.

The Eagles have now won two of their last three matches and sit at 5-6-1 overall and 4-4-1 in the CACC.

After a scoreless first half, the Golden Falcons got on the board first in the 49th minute on a goal from Katinka Ummels. However, the Eagles answered less than three minutes later as Sabrina Adamo hit a cross that goalkeeper Julia Aguilar could not hold onto. The ball went into the net to tie the game. It was Adamo's second goal of the season.

Post would take the lead in the 74th minute as Alyssa Hebb hit a perfect cross to the far post to an open Hailey McGee who put home her third goal of the season.

The win was the fourth straight win for the Eagles over Felician. They have won seven of the last eight meetings. Post currently sits in fifth place in the CACC.

Tayleur Little finished with two saves on the day for the Eagles. They outshot the Golden Falcons, 16-6.
Up next, the Eagles host Georgian Court at noon at LaMoy Field on October 23.
