Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Little Has 11 Saves, But Women’s Soccer Loses To Jefferson

Philadelphia, Pa. – Tayleur Little had 11 saves, but the Post University women's soccer team lost a 2-0 match to Jefferson in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match.

It seemed throughout the first half the teams would go into halftime in a scoreless tie until Jefferson's Alessandra DiStefano headed in a goal off of a free kick from Jenna Pressley to give the Rams a 1-0 lead.

Little had stopped two shots on back-to-back shots right after one another less than a minute before the goal. Little had eight saves in the first half alone.

The 11 saves for Little were a season-high and the second most in her career. She had 22 saves against New York Tech in a 2019 match.

Jefferson would add its second goal in the 57th minute after a yellow card in the box.

Post had four shots on goal in the second half, including two from Tassia Ferreira.

Up next, the Eagles will play at Bloomfield in a CACC match on October 6 at 7 p.m.
