Men’s Lacrosse Falls To Franklin Pierce

Rindge, N.H. – Freshman Brendan Kelleher scored twice, but the Post University men's lacrosse team lost, 17-6 to Franklin Pierce on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference game.

 

With the Eagles down, 9-0, Kelleher got the Eagles on the board at the 14:19 mark of the third period.

 

Senior Jake Bova and junior Justin Nogueria would tack on two more goals in the third as the Ravens led 14-3 after the period.

 

Kelleher scored his seventh goal of the season in the fourth with the Eagles up a man on assist from junior Carlos Chacua. Chacua would add a goal of his own in just over a minute later to make it a 14-5 game. Freshman Victor Espinoza scored his first career goal for the Eagles final goal.

 

Chacua had two assists on the day to go along with his goal.

 

The Eagles host University of District of Columbia at 1 p.m. on March 11 at LaMoy Field.
