Waterbury, Conn. – Freshman Lydia Asamoah scored a goal in her second straight game, but the Post University women's soccer team dropped an 8-1 match to Jefferson in its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game on Saturday afternoon at LaMoy Field.
With the Rams up 5-0, Asamoah broke free from the last line of defense and put the ball past goalkeeper Danielle Sampson to make it a 5-1 game.
Junior Tayleur Little had nine saves for the Eagles, and classmate Imelda Lazaro had two.
MaryKate Ulmer finished with a hat trick for Jefferson.
