Waterbury, Conn. - Senior

The Eagles won 10-2 in six innings in game one, and 5-0 in game two. The two wins also moved the Eagles into the fifth seed in the upcoming CACC tournament.
Denis, the lone senior on the team struck out nine batters, a career-high in her complete game. She allowed no earned runs on three hits and three walks.
The bats also came to play, too as junior
Leyri Rivera (Dover, N.J.) hit an RBI single to score freshman
Briana Wilky (Swedesboro, N.J.) to give Post an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second.Â
After the Tigers tied the game in the top of the third, freshman
Bailee Zaccaro (Levvitown, Pa.) gave the Eagles the lead for good with an RBI double that scored sophomore
Demi Rivera (Hazlet, N.J.).
In the fourth, another Eagle set a milestone as
Leyri Rivera got her 100th hit of her career, a single that drove in freshman
Rianne Mayer (Berlin, Conn.) giving the Eagles a 3-1 lead. A triple by sophomore
Cassidy Petrie (Staten Island, N.Y.) would give the Eagles the 4-1 lead.
The Tigers closed within a run at 4-2 in the top of the fifth, but Wilky answered for the Eagles with a two-run in the bottom of the fifth putting the Eagles ahead, 6-2.
Post would end the game via the mercy rule in the bottom of the sixth, as the Eagles scored on two RBI walks from Zaccaro and freshman
Allyson Wallauer (Landenberg, Pa.) before classmate
Paige Delier (Milford, N.H.) delivered the final blow with a two-run pinch-hit single to end the game in the sixth.
Leyri Rivera finished the game going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Petrie went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI.
Demi Rivera walked four times and scored three runs. Wilky finished with two RBI and Zaccaro went 1-for-3 with a run and two RBI.
In game two, Delier delivered the big blow with a three-run homer in the bottom of the fifth inning to put the Eagles up 4-0.Â
It was Delier's second home run of the season. She hit her first homer in her first career game against Northwood on March 10.
The two teams were scoreless for the first four and a half innings before the Eagles broke through before junior
Brianna Koref (Springfield, N.J.) broke the scoreless tie with an RBI single that scored Wilky, setting the stage for Delier.
Koref drove in another run in the bottom of the sixth with an RBI double that scored freshman
Jazmin Andrews (Queens, N.Y.).
On the mound, freshman
Samantha McErlane (Mount Ephraim, N.J.) got her fifth win of the season, pitching a complete game shutout giving up just three hits on two walks while striking out one.
The Eagles, seeded fifth, finished the regular season 22-19 overall and 14-12 in the CACC. They will take on No. 4 seed Dominican in the first round of the CACC tournament beginning at noon on May 2 on the campus of Georgian Court.
