Sean Olsen (Old Bridge, N.J.) scored two goals for the Post University men's lacrosse team, but it fell to Georgian Court, 16-5 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game on Tuesday afternoon.
With the loss, the Eagles are now 1-11 overall and 0-3 in the CACC.
Down 1-0 early, Olsen tied the game with 9:41 left in the first quarter with an unassisted goal to tie the game at 1-1.
The Lions scored the next seven goals, before Olsen scored right before the half with 34 seconds left as Georgian Court led 7-2 at halftime.
The Lions took a 9-2 lead early in the third on goals from Brandon Lewis and Tanner Lee before sophomore
Mark Colella (Goshen, N.Y.) cut the deficit to 9-3 with 11:18 remaining in the third.Â
Junior
Corey Auten (Stratford, Conn.) tacked on a goal at 4:36 in the third and sophomore
Carlos Chacua (Norwalk, Conn.) scored his team-leading 14th goal of the season in the fourth.
Randy Collins led Georgian Court with four goals. Four other players scored twice for the Lions who are now 7-7 on the season and 3-0 in the CACC.
