Lauren Chambers (Lebanon, Pa.) had a hat trick, but the Post University women's lacrosse team dropped a 20-5 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game to Jefferson University on Saturday afternoon.
The Rams scored the first nine goals of the game before Chambers got the Eagles on the board with 11:29 remaining in the first half with an unassisted goal.
After a goal from Jefferson's Lexi Patania, Chambers added her second goal of the game at 2:48 with the Eagles up a player.
The Rams took an 11-2 lead into halftime.
Post struck first in the second half as junior
Jaylene Souto (Middletown, R.I.) scored to make it an 11-3 game with 28:59 left. After back-to-back goals from Jefferson's Sarah von Lange, Chambers would score her final goal of the game at 19:36. Senior
Savannah Schwack (Manorville, N.Y.) would tack on a goal assisted from Souto to make it a 13-5 game, but that would be as close as the Eagles would get the rest of the way.
Post is now 2-10 on the season and 1-5 in the CACC.
von Lange finished with five goals for the Rams. Patania had four.
