Morgan Cassiliano (Staten Island, N.Y.) scored two goals, but the Post University women's lacrosse team was defeated by Saint Anselm, 23-4 on Saturday afternoon.
Saint Anselm scored the first 11 goals of the game before Cassiliano scored with 22:47 remaining in the first half to make it an 11-1 game with 22:47 left. Senior
Savannah Schwack (Manorville, N.Y.) put home her first goal of the season at 16:39 to cut the deficit to 11-2.
The Hawks scored the final six goals of the half to give them a 17-2 lead at the half.
Cassiliano opened up the scoring in the second half with a goal at 28:13 to make it a 17-3 game at the 28:13 mark. The Hawks scored the next four goals to make it 21-3 before senior
Lauren Chambers (Lebanon, Pa.) scored her first goal of the season at 16:41 to make it a 21-4 game.
Annie Richards scored five goals for the Hawks. Taylor Cobain added four more.
