Kasey Jusino (Bordentown, N.J.) got the lone hit for the Eagles as the softball team dropped a 6-0 game to Southern New Hampshire on Monday afternoon.
The loss puts the Eagles at 5-8 on the season.
Sophomore
Demi Rivera (Hazlet, N.J.) pitched two innings of relief. Both runs she gave up were unearned and she struck out one. Freshman
Samantha McErlane (Ephraim, N.J.) (1-1) recorded the loss.
Maddy Barone led the way for the Penmen going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run. She had an RBI single in the third and sixth innings. She also pitched a complete game, striking out eight.
Up next, the Eagles take on Saint Thomas Aquinas at 2:30 on March 28 in a road game.
