Kllobocishta Shines Bright In Final Regular Season Game As Women’s Soccer Shuts Out Felician

Waterbury, Conn. – Junior Fitore Kllobocishta had a day to remember, scoring a goal and dishing out two assists as the Post University women's soccer team shut out Felician, 3-0 in the final Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game of the season.

With the win, the Eagles close out the regular season at 7-7-3 and 6-5-1 in the CACC. They will finish sixth in the conference. Their opponent for the upcoming CACC Tournament is to be determined depending on how the remainder of the CACC games play out. They will play on the road at 2 p.m. on November 12.

Post got on the board early in the eighth minute as freshman Lydia Asamoah took a pass from Kllobocishta, raced down the field 30 yards and put it past goalkeeper Paloma Garcia after her shot deflected off a defender to make it a 1-0 game. It was Asamoah's eighth goal of the season.

Just 14 minutes later, freshman Hailey McGee took a pass from Kllobocishta that was floated over the defender's head, fought off the defender for the final ten yards and took a shot while falling to make it a 2-0 lead. It was her seventh goal of the season.

Shortly after the half, Kllbocishta got in on the scoring herself, taking a pass from freshman Amber McGee inside the box and slide kicking it past Garcia for her second goal of the season. Junior Sydney Rutherford also assisted on the play.
