Caldwell, N.J. – The Post University women's soccer team's season came to an end, losing 2-0 to Caldwell in the first round of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament on Tuesday afternoon.
Junior Imelda Lazaro had six saves on the day for the Eagles, while the Eagles had seven shots on goal as a team. Freshmen Lydia Asamoah and Hailey McGee each had two shots on goal.
Caldwell scored in the 28th minute from just across midfield from Amber Raines. Sarah Costanza scored in the 38th off a throw in for the second and final score of the game.
The Eagles finished their season at 7-8-3, a three game improvement from a season prior. They also set a school record this season with six straight wins and upset No. 5 in the East, Southern Connecticut State University on October 16.
Asamoah finished the season with eight goals on the season, which was ninth in the CACC. Hailey McGee had seven.
