Philadelphia, Pa. – The Post University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-14, 25-14, 25-17) match to Chestnut Hill in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game on Friday evening.
Suzy Boulay led the Eagles with 11 digs and Shannon Veale led the team with nine kills.
The Eagles held an early 3-1 lead in the first set as senior Michelle Stublarec and freshman Jayda Roman had back-to-back kills. Chestnut Hill followed with a 19-7 run and took the first set.
In the second set, Roman and Veale each had three kills apiece in the 25-14 set loss, as the Griffins scored the final six points of the set.
The final set saw the Eagles go on eight 2-0 runs but couldn't get back after dropping the first six points.
Freshman Kim Buttery had 19 assists. Veale, Roman and sophomore Cassidee Knox each had ten digs for the Eagles.
Corrine Kalala led the Griffins with 15 kills.
