Lakewood, N.J. – The Post University women's soccer team had its six game win streak snapped in a 4-2 loss to Georgian Court on Saturday afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game.
After falling behind 2-0 in the first half, the Eagles cut the deficit in half as senior Samantha Brostek scored on a penalty kick at the 53rd minute. It was her second of the season.
The Lions scored their third goal of the game in the 67th minute before freshman Lydia Asamoah scored on a header off a rebound in the 70th minute to make it a 3-2 game. But, the Lions would score in the 77th minute as Aliya Canfield scored to make it a 4-2 game.
Junior Imelda Lazaro had three saves on the day for the Eagles.
The Eagles will take on Dominican on the road on October 23 at 3:30 p.m.
