Waterbury, Conn. – The Post University men's soccer team played Chestnut Hill to a 0-0 (2OT) draw on Saturday afternoon at LaMoy Field in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match.
Sophomore goalkeeper David Mollenthial had four saves on the day for the Eagles, recording his fourth clean sheet of the season. Chestnut Hill goalkeeper, Frank Maniscalco had eight.
Post outshot Chestnut Hill 18-15 with junior Sergio Diaz leading the Eagles with nine, four of those on goal.
The Eagles almost scored one away in the 106th minute, but Mansicalco stopped shots by sophomores Francesco Perienelli and Phillimon Bedard-Khalid.
The Eagles now sit at 6-1-3 overall and 4-0-2 in the CACC. They are unbeaten in their last nine games.
