Kllobocishta’s Late Penalty Kick Gives Women’s Soccer Win Over Bloomfield

Waterbury, Conn. -  Junior Fitore Kllobocishta scored a game-winning goal on a penalty kick in the 85th minute as the Post University women's soccer team beat Bloomfield, 2-1 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game.

The Eagles have now won two straight games, both CACC matches and are 2-3-2 on the season and 2-1 in the CACC.

With the game tied, 1-1, freshman Hailey McGee was tackled in the box during a counter attack, setting up Kllobocishta who put her shot to the right side of the net, freezing goalkeeper, Mia Phillip for the eventual game winner.

Kllobocishta assisted on the first goal of the game in the 34th minute as passing to freshman Lydia Asamoah, who dribbled to the top of the box and fired home her third goal of the season to give Post the 1-0 lead.

Bloomfield tied it five minutes later on a penalty kick.

Post outshot the Bears, 18-8, including 11 shots on goal. It was the fifth straight win for the Eagles against Bloomfield.

Junior Tayleur Little finished with four saves on the day.

Up next, the Eagles play on the road at Wilmington on October 5 at noon.
