Bloomfield, N.J. - Coming off their first CACC win of the season, the Eagles traveled to Bloomfield to square off against the Bears, who remain unbeaten (5-0) in CACC play. Bloomfield found success with their trio of Keith Washington, Rich Chapman and Kavione Green (55 combined points).
Bloomfield used a 14-3 run towards the end of the first half to distance themselves from Post, taking a 41-32 lead into the break.
D.J. Jarrett led the Eagles in first half scoring with nine points (3-7 FG, 2-4 3PT, 1-2 FT). Tyshon Rogers added eight points (4-13 FG) along with five rebounds, and two blocks in the first half.
Post looked to carry their hot three point shooting from last game (vs Holy Family) into the Bloomfield matchup but only connected on three out of 16 first half three pointers. Bloomfield hit on seven of their 13 first half three pointers.
Tyshon Rogers found his stride from the field in the second half, scoring 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 3PT, 1-2 FT). Rogers, second in the CACC in free throw attempts, was limited to only two attempts in the game. Rogers would finish with 19 points.
Marcus Johnson led the Eagles in rebounds with eight, including six in the second half.
The Eagles held the advantage in bench points (30-22), led by D.J. Jarrett (11), Savion Boissard (6) and Levy Gillespie (6).
