CALDWELL, N.J. - The Eagles battled through much of the first half of tonight's game in foul trouble, as eight different players picked up at least two first half fouls. Fouling led to 31 first half free throw attempts for Caldwell. They converted 24 of their 31 chances from the stripe (77%).
Post trailed by 15 going into the break. Tyshon Rogers led the way in first half scoring with 14 points on an efficient 5-7 shooting from the field. Rogers also collected four rebounds and four steals in the first half.
After going down by 20 points in the beginning of the second half, Post made a run to cut the Caldwell lead down to six points with 6:45 remaining.
Darryl Stewart scored nine second half points while Isaiah Holmes and Savion Boissard chipped in with eight points and seven points respectively.
Boissard (11 points) recorded his first double-digit scoring game of the season.
Tamas Okros played a solid game in the middle for the Eagles. Okros scored nine points and grabbed eight rebounds, his season-high rebounding performance.
Roger's double-double consisted of 18 points and ten rebounds. The CACC's steals leader also swiped six steals, a new career high for him.
