Shelton, Conn. - Junior
Jenna Baumgartner (Roseau, Minn.) had 64 saves, but the Post University women's hockey team dropped an 8-0 match to St. Anselm on Saturday afternoon.
Baumgartner had 22 saves in the first, 23 in the second and 19 in the third. It was her second highest save total of the season, as she had 74 saves in her first game of the season against Sacred Heart on October 5.
Saint Anselm scored two goals in the first, one in the second and five in the third. Seven different players scored for the Hawks, with Kelly Golini scoring two in the third period.
Sophomore
Kathleen Takita (Burrillville, R.I.) and classmate
Kayleigh Miller (Braselton, Ga.) led the team with three shots on goal apiece.
The Eagles (6-18) take on Sacred Heart in their next game on Jan. 29 at 1 p.m. at the Sportscenter of Connecticut.
