Box Score Waterbury, Conn. - Sophomore Kylee Opper (Shelton, Conn.) scored her first goal of the season, but the Post University women's soccer team dropped a 4-1 match to Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday afternoon at LaMoy Field.

Opper's goal came in the 79th minute off a pass from senior Aolani Hermosura (Stamford, Conn.).

Dorthea Glorud and Jaymie Caponigro scored for the Penmen (2-1) in the 23rd and 41st minute to give them a 2-0 lead going into the half. They tacked on tw more in the 57th and 64th minute to take a 4-0 lead before Opper's goal.

Senior Cheyenne Grim (Gettysburg, Pa.) stopped eight shots for the Eagles (0-3) on the day.

Up next for the Eagles is a non-conference road game against Roberts Wesleyan on September 8 at 1 p.m.
