Hunziker's 13 Kills Lead Eagles Past Caldwell, 3-1

Waterbury, Conn. - Senior Madison Hunziker (Sacramento, Calif) led three Eagles in double figures with 13 kills, as the Post University women's volleyball team topped Caldwell, 3-1 (27-25, 25-22, 18-25, 25-16) in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Tuesday night.

With the win, the Eagles move to 7-10 on the season and 4-2 in the CACC.

The second set saw the Eagles take an early 8-3 lead before a rally by the Cougars eventually gave them a brief 22-21 lead before the Eagles rattled off the final four points, including a kill by Hunziker and an ace by sophomore Suzy Boulay (Kingston, N.Y.).

The Eagles dropped the third set after falling behind 13-6 early in the set. Junior Shannon Veale (Toms River, N.J.) had two aces in the set and freshman Tatianna Rivas (Boca Raton, Fla.) added one.

In the fourth set, the Eagles jumped out to a 10-3 lead and coasted the rest of the way in the 25-16 win. Freshman Rylie Arms (Gilbert, Ariz) had three aces and three kills. Hunziker had three kills as well.
